Title: MAT is currently on hold

Today is a sad day: I've decided to put the [MAT]( https://mat.boum.org ) project
on hold, both its development and maintenance, for health reasons.
I might go back to it at some point in the future, if/when I'm feeling better.

The current version has [bugs]( https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=mat ),
and doesn't work on Python3, I wouldn't advise anyone to use it.

What should you do?

- **users**: if you need to scrub metadata, the [website]( https://mat.boum.org )
  lists great alternatives that you could use.
- **packages maintainers**: please mark MAT as unmaintained.
- **developers**: if you want to maintain MAT, I'll be happy to do my very best
  to help you, but I don't feel like reviewing and merging patches, sorry.
- **friends**: don't worry too much, I'm <abbr title="Well, not more than the average human being.">not dying</abbr> :)
